Explore our free teaching materials in English about the European Union. We work with different methodologies and didactics in the development of our materials, and we focus on a wide range of EU topics: from the EU budget to climate policy, security and defence policy and beyond.
Our materials are generally suitable for students aged 14-19 and can also be used in workshops for university students or active teachers.

About DEO and DEO's education team
Founded in 2005, the Democracy in Europe Organisation (DEO) is a Danish member-based NGO that works to strengthen European democracy and civic education about the European Union.
With two decades of experience in engaging the public in European affairs, DEO is a seasoned civil society actor and an expert in the field of civic education about the European Union.
DEO’s education team is a non-profit educational project developed by DEO in collaboration with a large network number of teachers in Denmark and across the EU. Our goal is to support and strengthen teaching about the EU in the school sector through a diverse range of topical and student-engaging teaching materials and by arranging in-service training for teachers and offering courses, webinars and presentations.
